I am a science-minded clinical psychology student, finishing up the second year of my PhD program. My research interests include maternal trauma, childhood development, attachment, and dissemination of effective treatments. I’ve taught various psychology courses as a lecturer at San Jose State University and recently worked as a clinical research assistant at the National Center for PTSD.
I earned my master’s degree in clinical psychology from SJSU, and am committed to diving deeper into clinical research by completing my PhD at the University of Missouri, St. Louis.
I like to say I’ve been science-minded since I was very young - when I was around 4 years old, my mom found me scribbling away furiously on a piece of paper. She asked what I was doing, and I replied “I’m working on my research paper!” - my excitement and interest in science, especially in psychological science, has only continued to grow.
